Branding, business and design are in Paris Young’s DNA. Growing up immersed in her parents’ company, Storepro, a “retail project management partner” delivering full-service commercial fitout solutions across Australia and New Zealand – she developed an innate understanding of how strong brands are built and sustained.

Now, at just 36, Paris leads two thriving enterprises: she is the CEO of Storepro and the founder of strategic design consultancy Pascal Satori. While the two businesses differ in scope, they share the same driving purpose: guiding businesses through growth and transformation by aligning brand, business and customer strategy.

From Graphic Design to Strategic Leadership

Paris’s professional path began in graphic design and marketing before expanding into digital and experience design, and even a stint in fashion through a golf-wear label she managed with her mother. Her entrepreneurial streak and work ethic was shaped early by her parents, Amanda and Shane Young, who founded Storepro over 25 years ago and continue to play advisory roles in the business.

“My parents have been the biggest influence on my career and approach to work. They’ve instilled in me a relentless drive to solve problems, assess risk thoughtfully and support the people around me,” Paris says.

“Mum is the executor and my ultimate hype woman – she can genuinely get anything done. Dad is the ideas man, always spotting opportunities and picking trends before anyone else.”

Together, they cultivated her discipline, creativity and intuitive ability to see potential in brands, businesses and people.

Pascal Satori: Where strategy meets purpose

Throughout her 20s, Paris worked across retail strategy, marketing and customer service at Storepro and other companies. But a pivotal post-grad summer intensive in Strategic Design at Parsons School of Design in New York sharpened her focus on design thinking — centring empathy, prototyping and purposeful execution. From that, Pascal Satori was born.

Pascal Satori is a remote, all-women consultancy that works at the intersection of brand, business, and customer strategy. The passionate team partners with purpose-driven organisations, not-for-profits, and impact-led businesses to design meaningful customer experiences. This year, their work with Her Tech Circle, a national initiative supporting women in tech, earned them a Good Design Award – proof of their ability to turn vision into impact.

“It’s only been 12 months and they now have incredible engagement. Women are getting jobs and gaining access to mentoring opportunities – and receiving a Good Design Award for the project was such meaningful validation,” says Paris.

Now a mother of two and CEO of Storepro, Paris has shifted into a more non-operational founder role within Pascal Satori, entrusting the day-to-day to her experienced team.

“The only reason I can work across both businesses is because of the amazing people around me and the clarity we have around structure and responsibility,” she says. “And I have an incredible husband and support network – with young kids, anything can change in the morning. Literally anything,” she laughs.

Storepro: Delivering value beyond the build

As CEO of Storepro, Paris leads innovation and strategy, helping retailers visualise and value engineer their store development strategy. With offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Guangzhou, the company positions itself as a retail delivery partner – not just a shopfitter. “Value beyond the build” means early collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and integrating brand strategy into every project.

“We position ourselves not as shop fitters but retail delivery partners because we’re very much upstream in the partnership rather than just focused on the build,” Paris explains. “We don’t believe in getting a set of plans and just building it without really trying to provide value.”

Paris describes herself as “a designer of seamless, human-centred experiences”. For her, every touchpoint matters – from frontline staff to digital interfaces. “When one link in the chain is out of alignment, the experience falls down,” she explains. Her approach is holistic, always looking beyond the brief to uncover hidden opportunities

The Future of Retail: Immersive, Connected, Human

Technology plays a central role in Paris’s vision for the future of retail. She sees a shift from screens and gimmicks to immersive, brand-aligned digital experiences. “Retailers need to move beyond two-dimensional interactions,” she says, pointing to gamification, AI, and experiential environments as the next frontier.

While Australia remains conservative in tech adoption, Paris believes the future lies in blending physical and digital retail – where augmented reality, virtual shopping, and AI-enhanced experiences become the norm.

A new era for Storepro

Storepro is now in a second-generation transition. Paris, her sister Belle – Project Director and head of the NSW team – and long-time colleagues Stu and Tom are in the process of acquiring the business from her parents, continuing its legacy with fresh energy and vision.

“We’re looking to go back to what made Storepro special in the beginning: it’s focus on optimising the critical path for store development,” says Paris.

“We’re looking at how we do that, and provide our clients the best experience by integrating new technology into the store development process – such as VR walkthroughs, and AI powered tools for retailers rolling out their footprint.”

“We’re also looking at how we can support our partners like architects and leasing teams with efficiencies across the board, making sure everyone is supported and aligned,” she adds.

Paris may be CEO but she works side-by-side with her sister and, while some may warn against mixing family and business, Paris wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I’ve worked with my husband, I’ve worked with my sister and I’ve worked with both of my parents and I am not insane yet,” jokes Paris. “I think it comes down to respect. We have that innate respect for each other and we just want to do good work and be proud of it.”

Leading with purpose

Paris credits her success to the people around her. Her leadership style is grounded in compassion, accountability, and clear communication. “Leading by example and leading with compassion are non-negotiables,” she says.

Ultimately, her motivation is simple: helping people realise their potential. “If I can help someone achieve their dreams – not just goals – then I’m happy,” she says. Whether it’s clients, team members, or her own family, Paris leads with purpose, passion, and a relentless drive to make things better.
