Established in Australia in 2003 and expanding into New Zealand in 2020, Austaron Surfaces has undergone significant evolution in recent years, strengthening its position as a leading collaboration partner for the design and construction industry. Long recognised as the supplier of Staron® Solid Surfaces from LOTTE Chemical, the company has delivered countless successful commercial and residential projects and continued to broaden its offering with a strong focus on innovation.

This commitment to design advancement has seen Austaron Surfaces partner with Mario Romano Walls, Acrylic Couture®, Organoid® and Kaynemaile®, offering a diverse and inspiring portfolio that expands creative possibilities.

In 2025, the company reached a major milestone with the opening of its purpose-built headquarters in Brendale, Brisbane. The new facility brings together warehouse operations, offices, event spaces and a dedicated selections centre, all meticulously designed to showcase the full potential of the product range.

Since opening the doors, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Visitors have been in awe of the fitout, noting not only its aesthetic impact but its educational value. The curated displays allow designers and builders to truly understand the capabilities of each material, particularly Staron®, which can be difficult to appreciate without seeing its seamless joins, thermoforming possibilities and design versatility first-hand.

The new showroom provides the context needed to demonstrate best-case design outcomes, ensuring the potential of these innovative products is fully realised.

Every element of the space has been thoughtfully crafted to present the brands at their best, echoing the company’s guiding tagline: Inspire. Imagine. Create. The showroom stands as a true destination for designers offering an immersive environment where innovation, materiality and design thinking converge.

Adding further value to the new headquarters is the collaboration with key supplier partners, including Hettich, EGR Décor, Dyson, and several others. Bringing these brands together within one boutique showroom creates a unique destination where designers can explore complementary products and connect with multiple suppliers in a single, thoughtfully curated environment.

The extensive fitout was divided into dedicated zones, allowing Director Brett Worden to draw on long-standing industry relationships through IFA, and collaborate with leading companies such as Barrett Group, Woodland Fitouts, Acumen Building Projects, Phantom Shopfitting and Joinery, and RJR Shopfitting. This was further strengthened by collaboration with solid surface fabrication experts, Solid Surface Innovations, Thermoform Fabricators and Brisbane Solid Benchtops.

Designed and project-managed internally by Austaron Surfaces, the fitout offered an invaluable opportunity for the team to fully immerse themselves in their own brands and create something truly distinctive for the industry.

A key component of the new headquarters is its focus on hospitality and industry support. Hot desks are available for designers to utilise when meeting clients onsite, helping them create a professional and seamless experience. The boardroom is also open for client presentations, consultations and collaborative sessions for all of Austaron Surfaces’ industry connections. Ensuring every visit is both productive and memorable, the team is on-hand to assist. As a family-owned company, their welcoming approach is warmly received, with many noting the relaxed and friendly experience the space provides.
